Asia-Pacific MSGC – a standalone and specialized Area cross-service line team that is 100% dedicated to growing our Managed Services business. The MSGC will provide a vehicle through which EY Asia-Pacific can achieve our Managed Services aspirations

The Tax Technology and Data Operations (TDO) team works with the firms most challenging, complex and rewarding clients. The TDO team are a group of specialists who bring many years of technology and data operations /data management experience who focus and support across the engagement lifecycle from:
- winning in the market through positioning and adoption of new ways of working and technologies (such as EY’s Global Tax Platform) with Account teams and directly with clients
- developing the design and architecting the technology and data solutions, leveraging globally developed standards by applying to the Client and EY service delivery environment
- management and delivery to the Solution Architecture through leveraging the existing network of resources and fast developing GDS specialty teams
- drive the transformation of our Global Operations (GO) and Tax Finance Operate (TFO) business through close collaboration with stakeholders across the EY Tax organisation
The opportunity
The Tax Technology and Data Operations (TDO) team are a group of specialists who bring many years of technology and data operations /data management experience who focus and support across the engagement lifecycle.
Due to increasing demand in the market the TDO team are looking to expand through the recruitment of Tax Technology Solution Architect (TSA) to lead across the above primary area of responsibilities, and the following provides further detail in relation to the opportunities, role details, requirements and experience to be gained from being a part of the APAC TDO central team.
Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for TDO activities across the full engagement lifecycle (i.e. identification and pursuit through to transition and into BAU Operations including contracting, engagement code management, billing, etc)
- Work as a key part of an Account pursuit and delivery team leading on TDO requirements
- Support the continuing evolution and implementation of Tax Technology and Data Solution Architect standards to transform service delivery
- Deployment and positioning of the market leading EY’s Global Tax Platform (GTP) and broader EY technology solutions
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Degree level qualification, or and at least 8-10 years proven work record in a similar environment
- Possessed Tax and/or Accounting background or knowledge
- Must have good understanding of how tax and/or finance functions operate and understand the respective process / data for reporting
- Experienced with ETL tools, for e.g. Alteryx, Power BI
- Experienced with ERP finance systems , for e.g. SAP, Workday
- Experience and understanding technology deployment models (e.g. requirements, design, implementation etc.) and data management/operations
- Experience in delivering complex projects involving tax technology, transformations and data operations
- Experience of working in and managing virtual team across multiple locations who have varied skillsets
