So what's the HR Manager going to do?
Ultimately, you're going to be our motivation officer and manage the HR in all markets we operate in. So experience of UK, Singapore, China and Taiwan is a bonus.
As we’re owned by a British company, we also want your help to bring in international cultural values to local MY staff who act as the global support for all offices including openness, no gender or cultural divides as everyone is reward on ability and quality of output.
Ultimately, we’re looking for someone to come with an entrepreneurial spirit to help shape the next Microsoft or Google of the world, with an amazing 'can do' approach and a sense of 'calm’ and ‘fun' during the busy times - of which there are many. Candidates must possess a proactive approach and not be shy with ensuring the job gets done (at whatever hour of the day) with an excellent grasp of English and has lived and studied in the UK.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage HR inc recruitment
- manage all operational compliances inc MDEC in all markets
- Ensure all contracts and company handbooks are maintained across all offices
- Oversee & implement all HR matters in all markets
- Candidate screening and employment contracts management
Desired skills and experience:
- Min. 3 years in a HR role
- Experience of HR in an international company
- Understanding of HR practices in MY and the ability to research and implement in other countries including UK, Australia, Singapore, US, Taiwan and China
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Work well in a team but also comfortable using own initiative
- Resilience and ability to function under pressure
- Education: BA/BS Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and mandarin
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
