You lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager.

How you will contribute

You will support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review. In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Food Sciences/Food Technology

Job specific requirements:

  • Responsible on overall Sanitation and Pest Control Programme in Prai.
  • Participate as a team in any new machine installation, relocation, modification which requires Sanitation verification or validation and cleaning procedure update.
  • Ensuring that Prai has adhered to the Sanitation Manual & QP.
  • HED and HBD (Hygienic Equipment/Building Design) leader. Ensure all HED/HBD review completed timely on all new projects and close off all gaps prior project start up.
  • Master cleaning up to date.
  • Work closely with Pest Control Service Provider to monitor and continuously improve the pest control program.
  • Lead on Allergen validation or assessment when plant having new SKU/different allergen profile.
  • Lead monthly GMP program, follows up on gap closure and verifies if corrective actions are carried our promptly.
  • Knowledge of food science/microbiology/allergen control –relative to sanitation and food safety.
  • Knowledge and understand good manufacturing practices, plant operations, sanitation policies/ procedures, sanitary design, pest control, and allergen control.
  • Improve on Plant GMP, Sanitation, Pest program and people capability due to this program.
  • Manage the pest control program/ activities with Pest Control Operator to ensure compliance to GMP, Quality Policies and HACCP Standards.
  • Manage the cleaning activities performed by 3rd party cleaners and implementing cleaning schedules/ plans and verification methods to ensure that the cleaning practices are complying to GMP, Quality Policies and HACCP standards.
  • Conducts periodic Quality systems training on GMP, Quality System procedures and other QCMS related training requirements.
  • Knowledge of HACCP (physical, chemical, microbiological) and expertise in application & inspection for compliance of HACCP principles.
