MEDIA RESEARCH EXECUTIVE


 

The Executive with the Media Analysis department gathers and analyses various media coverage data, and translates that into meaningful insights and information to help organisations (the clients) spot trends and patterns to make better, more informed business decisions. This role will require you to assist in compiling these data, summarising the information, and writing reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and learn about the mainstream and social media landscape

  • Assist in analysing mainstream media and social content to derive meaningful insights for clients
  • Draft and prepare reports based on those insights/data

Requirements and key skills:

  • Graduate with Mass Comm/Marketing/Business diploma/degree or its equivalent
  • Proficient in word processor and spreadsheet software such as Excel and PowerPoint (for data manipulation and visualisation)
  • Meticulous
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proactive and has a positive attitude
  • Independent, and a good team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,900.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Lab: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Researcher: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
  • Chinese (Preferred)
  • Bahasa (Preferred)
